Walk and Talk

Dear residents,

On Thursday 28th May, PCSO Demmi Ramsden held a Walk and Talk event in Brookside. In attendance was Nikki Lane from the Brookside and Stirchley Parish Council who showed her support for this important initiative.

Walk and Talk is designed to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) by welcoming female members of the community into a safe and supportive environment where you can openly share your experiences and concerns. 

During these walks, females have the opportunity to highlight any areas where they may feel unsafe and discuss these directly with a female officer. Concerns around general safety, anti‑social behaviour, sexual offences, and domestic abuse can also be addressed.
