Serious injury collision, near Fowey

We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision on the B3269, near Fowey.

Officers were called at around 12.35pm to B3269, at Newtown, near Fowey, on Monday 22 June.

A two-vehicle collision was reported that involved an Aprilia motorcycle and a single-decker bus.

The motorbike rider, a local man in his 30s, sustained life-changing injuries. His next of kin are aware.

The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene. It was reopened around 5.35pm.
