Police operation in Normacot, 19/06/2026

Hi All, 

On 19/06/2026, Staffordshire police officers attended Normacot area and conducted a police operation and patrol by checking vehicles are parking correctly on the road and are not blocking junctions exits or full blockage of the pavement preventing pedestrians from using them. Due to issues in the area, where drivers, are not parking on the road correctly and blocking junctions making it hard for vehicles to exit and enter the junctions. As well as, fully blocking pavements forcing pedestrians onto the road. 

During the patrol around the Normacot area, 15 tickets were given for TOR's (Traffic Offence Reports), for obstructions, tinted windows and Number plates Misrepresented that did not meet regulations. 

Further to this police officers attended Lightwood area due to ongoing issues in the area. During this time police officers did speed enforcement in the Lightwood Road are and several drivers were reported to SSRP (Staffordshire safer roads partnership).
