Male Approaching Children Near Cost-Cutter Store in Whitchurch Town Centre (SY13 1AG)

A white male, approx 5ft 7" tall with blonde short hair, wearing a grey T-Shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms (may also be wearing a hoodie and dark sun-glasses) has been seen approaching children and trying to engage with them on their way to and from Whitchurch C of E Junior Academy. The male has been seen around the area of Cost-Cutter near the end of Talbot Street (SY13 1AG). Police will be carrying out targeted patrols in the area at school ‘pick-up’ and ‘drop-off’ times, but in the meantime, if parents and guardians could please remind their children of the rules around ‘Stranger Danger’ and ask them to report anything they see to a parent, a teacher or to the police, we would be most grateful.
