With temperatures rising, we want to remind everyone how dangerous it is to leave a dog in a parked car — even for a few minutes.

🌡️ On a warm day, the temperature inside a car can soar within minutes, even if the windows are left open. This can quickly lead to heatstroke, severe distress, and even death.

Dogs can’t cool themselves down like we do, and by the time you return, it may already be too late.

✅ If you’re heading out, please leave your pets safely at home where it’s cool.
✅ Always make sure they have access to fresh water and shade.

If you see a dog in distress in a hot car, call 999 immediately. Your call could save a life.
