What a fantastic day at The Welcome Family Fun Day held on 21st June at the Toft Cricket Club!
The event brought families together to raise funds, increase awareness and strengthen our local community. It was great to see so many local residents enjoying the day alongside the new and former Mayors, the local Councillor, and many families from across the area, as well as The Fire Brigade.
Officer Paulo from the local policing team was delighted to attend with a Police vehicle, giving children and members of the Community the opportunity to explore it, ask questions, and meet their local officer.
It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and positive interactions throughout the day.
The event featured a variety of fantastic stalls, delicious hot dogs and beef burgers and ended with an amazing Birds Of Prey display. Best of all, the day passed without any incidents, making it a safe and enjoyable event for everyone involved.
A huge thank you to the Welcome Café, all the volunteers, organisers, and everyone who attended for making the day such a great success. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
