Stolen Motorbike Seized

Officers have successfully located and seized a stolen motorbike linked to ongoing anti-social behaviour issues in the Cranbrook and Hawkhurst areas.

The vehicle had been identified over recent days as being involved in repeated incidents of ASB, causing concern within the local community. Proactive patrols were conducted in response. On sighting the motorbike, officers made attempts to stop the rider, who failed to comply, resulting in a short pursuit. The pursuit was brought to a safe conclusion, and the rider made off from the vehicle on foot.

A thorough search of the area was conducted; however, the suspect was not located at the time. The motorbike was confirmed as stolen and was subsequently recovered and seized. Enquiries remain ongoing to identify those responsible.

This seizure will significantly reduce the ASB issues associated with this vehicle, and officers will continue to carry out patrols in the area to provide reassurance and deter further offending.
