Police Nitrous Oxide Patrols

Dear Resident

This evening in between attending incidents officers have been out on area patrolling locations that have previously been highlighted to us regarding the use of nitrous oxide.

These patrols are part of OP CORTON which will be conducted on a regular basis as we look to take action against the use of nitrous oxide in our communities, it is often that users under the influence then proceed to drive in the area putting others at serious risk.

This evening the following locations have been patrolled:

• Maud Road Garages - Water Orton

• B4116 layby

• Packington Lane, Coleshill

• Fillongley

• Ansley

• Maxstoke

Whilst out conducting patrols a vehicle was seized for driving offences.
