Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team |

Dear Resident,
I hope this message finds you well and that you are enjoying the warm weather we are finally experiencing.
I am pleased to provide you with an update from your local policing team regarding our recent activities in the Blakenhall Ward. Your Designated Neighbourhood Police Officer is PC Richard Collins.
Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude to all who attended last week's meeting at the Blakenhall Village Centre. It was one of our most well-attended meetings in recent times. It is evident that everyone present is passionate about our community and eager to make a positive impact. While I may not have been able to address all concerns to everyone's satisfaction, I hope you left with a sense of reassurance that I am committed to the area, despite the limitations I sometimes face. I look forward to seeing you at our next meeting, and I encourage others to join us—even if it's just for a coffee. Who knows, I might even bring some biscuits.
Yesterday marked the first Street Watch in our area. Although I was unable to attend due to prior commitments, I understand it was a great success. I hope more residents will consider joining in the coming weeks.
I also spent some time cycling around the estate in the Goscote/blakenall area , engaging with residents. If we didn't meet in person, you might have spotted me on your door camera. I apologize if anyone was annoyed but their doorbell going off, but I hope it reassures you of my presence in the community.
Additionally, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the police cadets from Walsall College, who, alongside PCSOs, conducted a litter pick in the Leamore Park area. The amount of rubbish collected was astonishing, yet not entirely surprising.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement.
Best regards,
Richard Collins
