High visible Patrols around Arnos Grove.

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Personal theft (e.g. pick pocketing, no violence used), which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

High-visibility patrols have been carried out across Bowes Road, Brookdale Road, Morton Way, and Wimer Way. These patrols form part of ongoing efforts to provide reassurance to residents, deter criminal activity, and address local concerns raised by the community.
Officers engaged with members of the public during patrols, offering crime prevention advice and maintaining a visible presence in identified hotspot areas. The patrol activity also supports the ward’s priorities around anti-social behaviour, vehicle-related crime, and residential burglary prevention.
These locations will continue to be monitored, with further patrols planned to ensure sustained visibility and community engagement.
