Good Morning Resident,

This week officers have been carrying out morning-after drink-drive checks across the Worthing area.

Yesterday morning, seven breath tests were conducted, and we're very pleased to report that no drivers tested positive for alcohol.

However:

If you're heading out to watch any of the World Cup games, please remember:

Alcohol can remain in your system long after you've stopped drinking.

Allow plenty of time for alcohol to leave your body before driving.

Slow down, drive responsibly, and give yourself enough time to reach your destination safely.
