Pimlico South Ward Operation Update

Today, a team of seven officers carried out a dedicated operation across the Pimlico South Ward. Throughout the operation, officers conducted speed enforcement checks, stop and searches, and high-visibility patrols covering every street, road, and alleyway within the ward.

The operation was aimed at tackling ongoing concerns around anti-social behaviour involving youths, as well as speeding on the ward's main roads. These proactive operations have proven to be highly successful, and we will continue to carry them out regularly to help keep the area safe and address issues raised by residents.

The information shared with us during our resident surgeries has been extremely valuable in helping to shape these operations. The feedback and intelligence provided by residents enables officers to identify hotspot locations and focus patrols and enforcement activity where they are needed most. We would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to attend and share their concerns.

We are also aware of ongoing concerns regarding cyclists travelling through red traffic lights, particularly along Grosvenor Road. This remains a priority issue, and we will be carrying out additional targeted enforcement operations to address this behaviour and improve safety for all road users.
