Canal Barge Burglary - Leeds / Liverpool Canal, Riddlesden BD20

Dear Resident,

Sometime between 3.30pm on 17/06/2026 and 10.40am on 18/06/2026, a canal barge was broken into on a section of the Leeds & Liverpool canal in the Riddlesden area. The unidentified suspect/s forced open the cabin door and made off with a number of tools and various other items. Rather strangely, the suspects also brought their own food and used the cooking facilities onboard and may have stayed overnight. The barge has now been moved to another location.
