Armthorpe Day of Action

On Monday 15th June Doncaster East Neighbourhood Officers organised a day of action in the Armthorpe area. 

The day started at the Acorn hub where officers met with partners from DMBC Localities Team and St Leger Housing.

The day was planned to promote collaborative working between different agencies to tackle some of the issues in the area.

The day started with a warrant in relation to drug dealing. This warrant was based on information reported to us from the local community, in which we obtained a warrant to take action. 3 males and 1 female were detained, searched and a small amount of drugs were found.

A white BMW was located on Mansfield crescent having been stolen earlier in the day. This will be forensically examined and returned to its owner.

Speed monitoring operations were carried out in multiple locations across the village, in which enforcement action was taken.

Officers also gave advice to members of the public using e-scooters and e bikes. 

We held a pop up Police station at the Acorn hub, which was well attended by the public. On offer were crime prevention merchandise and the opportunity to speak with the team.
