Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling At 4.10am on Monday 15 June in The Orchard, Sutton in Ashfield, a male was trying the door handles at the front and back of a property and possibly entered an unlocked garage before being disturbed by the owner and running off. Nothing was stolen. Burglary Other Nothing to report Theft of motor vehicle At 1.14pm on Tuesday 16 June in Farmwell Lane, Sutton in Ashfield, a white Seat Mo 125 e-scooter was stolen. Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft At 11.00pm on Sunday 14 June at The Old Blue Bell, Lammas Road, Sutton in Ashfield, CCTV shows a male stealing a push bike from inside a front door. Violence against person At 9.04pm on Saturday 13 June in Portland Square, Low Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a male was hit at the back of the head with a brick causing bleeding from the back of the head and the nose. The attacker was a white male, brown short scruffy hair, wearing a blue Parker coat, black joggers, black trainers. At 1.56pm on Wednesday 17 June in Aspley Road, Sutton in Ashfield, at the rear of the Lammas Leisure Centre four or five 17 year old white males were throwing stones, some hitting the caller, but not causing any injury, They walked off towards Jubilee Road. Criminal Damage Between 10.00pm on Wednesday 10 to 3.00am on Thursday 11 June at Stoneyford Court, Stoneyford Road, Sutton in Ashfield, Internet wiring on the outside of a property was cut. Between 7.00pm on Friday 12 and 12.30pm on Saturday 13 June in Priestsic Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a black Honda Civic VTEC was damaged with a golf club which broke, part falling inside the car. ASB Between 10.00pm on Saturday 13 and 12.10am on Sunday 14 June in Quarrydale Avenue, Sutton in Ashfield, a group of 15/19 year old males were riding a motorbike around the area causing a disturbance. At 6.40pm on Monday 15 June in Stuart Street, Sutton in Ashfield, the caller was approached by some young children who said they were scarred by an unknown male who had been following them around the park. He was described as white, bald, 30/40 years old, medium to large build and wearing dark clothing. The caller thought he was possibly on drugs.
