Dear Resident, Blythe Crime update from Wednesday 10th June – Thursday 18th June. Burglary. On the 12/06/26 between 2.15am-7.15am a burglary was reported on Dyers Lane Illshaw Heath. Offenders gained entry by lock snapping a rear door. Nothing was reported stolen. Burglary Business and Community. On the 16/06/26 at 1.47am Shipping storage containers were broken into, on Palmers Farm Industrial Estate, Valley Road, Earlswood. A Yamaha Quad motorbike was stolen.
Beat Surgeries. The next two Beat Surgeries are at Hallies café. 6 Farmhouse Way Monkspath 22/06/26 from 10.00am- 11.00am and Mortons Bar and Deli Restaurant 7 Main Street, Dickens Heath from 10.00am – 11.00am. All Welcome.
Please note. The thefts of Toyota Hybrids and new Range Rovers are increasing around the West Midlands area. Please fit a steering lock. A tracking device may help locate the vehicle when fitted. Registration plates have been unscrewed or pulled off vehicles around Solihull. Please replace standard Registration plate screws, fixing pads, with anti-tamper screws fixings available from motor factors or online. Please make sure your sheds, garages side gates are locked. Move your wheelie bins inside your property away from any side gate entry. Please don’t leave your property in darkness, leave a light on. Ongoing patrols are continuing. Thank you to the residents who are helping Police with their investigations. If you see a vehicle in your area that you don’t recognise, parked up, please contact Police on 101 or use the West Midlands Police web site to log it. The location of new vehicle deposition sites are of interest to us. OBERVATIONS. If you see residents leaving their property on an unregistered scrambler moto cross petrol or electric motorbikes please email me or report it anonymously on Crime Stoppers on 0800 555111 as they are riding through local parks and Solihull Town Centre.
Please make sure your vehicles are locked. Solihull are being hit with theft from unlocked vehicles. Ensure that all garden furniture is stored away in a garden shed along with any tools to avoid aiding offenders in committing burglary. Ensure that Wheelie Bins are not stored near to fences and are chained together to prevent them from being used as climbing aids or storing objects in that may aid an offender to commit a crime.
