I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. Met Police Central North (CN) teams in Camden have been working proactively over the past two weeks to target mobile phone theft.
Mobile phone theft has been considered to be one of the MET POLICE CN teams top priority this is why more resources and efforts have been put into place to tackle and reduce mobile phone theft locally .
The areas that have been affected by mobile phone thefts/robbery have been targeted directly by the MET POLICE as the result, 125 arrests have been made and 60 mobiles phone have been so far recovered.
