Turns out driving around with the wrong licence isn't one of those "it'll be fine" situations.

One minute they're happily driving along, the next minute they're standing on the pavement watching their car disappear on the back of a recovery truck.

Moral of the story: check your licence before you set off!

On the bright side, at least they won't have to worry about finding a parking space tonight.
