Good Evening,
This is your weekly round up from the Pleck neighbourhood team and we have had another busy week!
Neighbourhood Officers from the Pleck Team, have attended a Litter Pick, street walk and fly-tipping check. A great turn out of local volunteers, the Pleck Litter Picking Team with a turnout including local councillors. A number of locations around Prince St and Oxford St, have been identified with enquiries being made regards to clearing the fly tipping. Officers have this week attended The Big Lunch event at Walsall College. The event was to recognise volunteers in the community. People that use their time, enthusiasm and effort to make their communities a better place to live. Multiple stop searches have been conducted this week. Also various positive outcomes and drugs have been seized as well as offenders have been dealt with.
This week also recognised Neighbourhood Policing and the work neighbourhood officers are involved in. This included, greet and meet at Morrisons Supermarket, community litter pick, knife crime awareness and knife sweeps at local parks.
PCSO’s from the Delves NHT, have taken part in a youth football coaching event, engaging with local youths and their parents.
PCSO Fisher and PCSO Hartland will be hosting a Police Surgery on the 30/06/26 at Morrisons, Wallows Lane, Pleck. This will be taking place at 11:00 and will last about an hour. If you have any queries, general issues or just want to chat to a member of the police in general then please pop down to Morrisons.
We will also be advertising our future PACT meeting each week. This is a meeting where any member of the community can attend to come forward with issues in the community and what they believe needs to be prioritised. This PACT meeting will be taking place at Nash Dom Community Hub, Sun Street, Walsall, WS1 4AL from 17:00-19:00 hrs on Wednesday 22nd July 2026. We look forward to seeing you!
Lastly, we would like to remind you of the community messaging service WMnow. WMnow is a messaging service between the Police and other partner agencies, directly to members of the public. It is secure and private and enables the Police to send out advisory messages about crime prevention and making residents aware of any issues in their area.
