||
|
We are appealing for information as part of enquiries into burglaries which have occurred in Waterlooville.
Between 12.15pm and 1.15pm on 12 June, a man forced entry into a house on Catherington Lane in Horndean.
Cash and jewellery including rings, necklaces and earrings were stolen. The man was disturbed at the scene and left the area on a bicycle.
Separately, on 14 April this year a man was reported to have tried to enter a house in London Road, Waterlooville, at around 3pm by pulling the door handle and kicking the door before leaving on a bicycle. The same day police received a report of a burglary at an address in Stakes Road, Purbrook, some time between 1pm and 5pm. Jewellery was reported stolen from the Stakes Road address.
Our investigations continue, and enquiries will seek to establish whether there is a link between the three incidents.
As part of these enquiries, we are releasing an image of a man we would like to identify. You can view this image by following our website link here: https://www.hampshire.police.uk/news/hampshire/news/appeals/2026/june/police-investigate-waterlooville-burglaries-and-release-image-of-man/
We appreciate the man's face is not visible, but we are hoping someone may recognise him from the clothing and the bike, may have seen him in their neighbourhood, or captured him on CCTV or doorbell camera.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting 44260277877. You can also submit information to us online here: https://www.hampshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
