|
Good Afternoon Ealing Common Residents,
Yesterday (15/06/2026) Sergeant Love and PC Young from the Ealing Common team were on patrols in plain clothes on the ward. Following intelligence regarding suspected drug dealing from Balmain Close, W5, the team headed to the area to conduct patrols.
At just before 1030, a male was seen to leave a block of flats and walk towards a set of garages. This matched the intelligence - a male coming and going all times of the day and night from the garages, on an Electric pedal cycle. Sergeant Love and PC Young approached the male, who had retrieved an Electric Bike and looked as if he was about to set off. He was detained for a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act search. When asked if he had any drugs, he ran and was detained nearby.
The male was searched and found to be in possession of around twenty (20) wraps of Cocaine in individual deal bags. Checks revealed he was linked to an address on the ward. This was searched by the Ealing Common team, where the following was found - The Suspect was arrested for Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs - Cocaine and Possession of Criminal Property (The cash) by Sergeant Love and taken to a nearby Police Station.
The Suspect was interviewed by the Ealing Common Team and the Crown Prosecution service were consulted. In total 3 charges were authorised and the Suspect was remanded in Custody to appear at a local Magistrates Court tomorrow (17/06/2026) - I hope this demonstrates we are committed to actioning intelligence and the concerns that you raise as our community. Please continue to report suspicious behaviour, we will endeavour to tackle it head on using a range of tactics - these include plain clothes taskings and high visibility patrols.
Kind Regards Sergeant Love | ||
