Neighbourhood Policing Week - Prolific Shoplifter Detained

While on our way to custody after executing a Section 23 Drugs Warrant this morning, officers from Regent's Park, Church Street Ward and Little Venice Ward saw a male running from Sainsbury's suspected of shoplifting.

After a short foot chase, the male was stopped and detained by officers. Stolen items was recovered and he was taken into custody.

This is another example of neighbourhood officers tackling crime as it happens and supporting local businesses across the area.
