Begging concerns - Bridgnorth Safer Neighbourhood Team Update |
Dear Resident
1) What we want the public to know We want to reassure the community that genuine support is available for anyone in need. Working with our partners, there are established services to provide help with food, accommodation, and other essential needs. Begging, including placing oneself in a position to appear as though you are begging, may constitute an offence. Where this behaviour is identified, officers will take appropriate action. This work forms part of our commitment to keeping public spaces safe and supporting vulnerable individuals, in line with our local Safer Neighbourhood priorities. 2) How we want the public to feel 3) What we want the public to do
Kind regards
