Hackney Central & Hackney Downs SNT Weekly Work Return (Week Ending 14 June 2026) Please see below an overview of Safer Neighbourhood Team activity for Hackney Central and Hackney Downs this week. We remain committed to working closely with the community to address concerns and maintain safety in the area. Key Activity Summary ✅ Arrests: 3 ✅ Positive Stop & Search: 1 ✅ ASB Warning Issued: 1 ✅ Abstractions: 15 (officers deployed to support wider policing demands) Arrests This week, officers carried out three arrests:
One arrest for breach of bail conditions One arrest for possession of a firearm One arrest made whilst officers were on aid, for supporting a proscribed organisation under the Terrorism Act In addition, a proactive intervention by a PCSO led to the identification of an individual breaching a Criminal Protection Notice (CPN) condition, prohibiting entry to Narrow Way. The individual was detained, and attending officers completed an arrest. Proactive Policing & Community Safety Officers conducted proactive patrols, resulting in a positive stop and search, helping to prevent potential criminal activity. An ASB warning was issued to address local concerns and deter further anti-social behaviour. Ongoing Commitment Despite 15 abstractions this week, the team has continued to deliver visible policing, respond to incidents, and take action where required. We remain focused on tackling crime, reducing anti-social behaviour, and providing reassurance to residents.
Working with the Community We encourage residents to continue reporting concerns and engaging with the team. Your information plays a vital role in helping us keep Hackney Central and Hackney Downs safe. |
