Violent offender in Victoria receives custodial sentence

On 29th April 2026 a violent altercation took place between a group of rough sleepers on Ambrosden Avenue near Westminster Cathedral. One male received significant injuries to the head after he was struck with a metal pole.

Daniel Dumbra, the suspect in the attack was soon arrested and remanded into custody. Last week Dumbra was sentenced to three years imprisonment after being found guilty of Wounding With Intent to do Grievous Bodily Harm.

Daniel Dumbra was well known to police for his long history of anti-social behaviour and criminality in our area. The swift policing response to his violent assault ensures he will be off our streets for some time.
