Banking or Courier Fraud -                  IT'S A SCAM. SPOT IT. AVOID IT

Remember: 

NEVER give your PIN or banking details out over the phone. The police and banks will never ask you to.

NEVER withdraw cash and send it anywhere by courier or taxi

NEVER send bank cards anywhere by courier or taxi

The police and banks will NEVER a ask you to do any of the above…

Police will never ask for your banking details or ask you to hand over money to keep it safe

fraudsters want your personal identification number (PIN), bank card or cash.

If you receive a phone call: 

Hang up. If you are worried about the call, don’t call back on the same phone. Go to a friend’s house or call a friend to clear the line -the fraudsters can’t impersonate someone you know.

If you have handed over cash, cards or personal details:      Call the police, call your bank, immediately
