Local Update

Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team have made several arrests as part of ongoing efforts to tackle local crime in Guisborough. 

Yesterday, a prolific shoplifter was arrested and interviewed. At the same time, a female suspect was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both have since been charged. 

Earlier in the week, another known shoplifter was arrested and later released on bail pending further enquiries.

We want to be clear that we will not tolerate shoplifting in our communities. We continue to work closely with local partners and businesses to tackle this type of offending to help keep our high street safe.
