Spate of Business Burglaries/ criminal damage

Dear Residents and Business Owners,

Over the past two days, there have been two incidents involving business burglaries or suspected attempted burglaries in the Lees and Grotton areas.

The occurrence of two incidents within such a short period is concerning and may indicate an increased risk of further offences. We therefore strongly encourage all business owners to review and enhance the security of their premises. Please ensure that any CCTV systems are fully operational, as this can significantly assist police enquiries.

We also ask members of the community to remain vigilant. If you notice any suspicious activity or individuals around local businesses that appear out of place, please report this to us. It is always better to report something that turns out to be innocent than to miss an opportunity to prevent crime.

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out proactive patrols in the area to help deter further incidents.
