Dear Resident, Over the past few weeks, we have seen an increase in youth-related activity in and around disused buildings within the area. While some of these buildings are derelict and others are currently under construction, all of them present significant risks and hidden dangers. Last night, two youths were detained inside a mill under construction in the Greenfield area. They were taken home by officers, and their parents have been spoken to. However, the remainder of the group (over 10 individuals) fled the scene and have not yet been identified or spoken to. We kindly ask that, if you believe your child may be involved, you speak with them about the serious dangers of entering such sites, for their own safety and wellbeing.
