Knife Sweep - Burberry Park Patrols |
||||
|
Dear Resident
This morning, the Aston Team has attended Burberry Park, following concerns of groups gathering and being in possession of weapons.
As part of this high visibility patrol, officers have completed a knife sweep of the park, engaged with a number of members of the public, and residents near to the park, and completed referrals to address fly-tipping at the park's entrance.
If this is your local park and you have any concerns, don't just see it, SAY it. As your local neighbourhood team, information or concerns raised can be acted on. The image below is an example of anti-social behaviour which should not be tolerated. Please see the link attached to this message for more information about “FIX MY STREET”. This is an app/website which allows anybody to report a range of issues. Examples include, but are not limited to; abandoned vehicles, car parking, fly-tipping or vandalism, potholes, roads/highway related issues street lighting etc.
According to “fix my street” online, 26,624 reports have been made regarding a range of issues, and 56,462 of these reports have been fixed in the past month. We are all stewards of our community, lets work together!
Kindest regards, Aston Neighbourhood Team, West Midlands Police.
