Successful Road Policing Operation- Tonbridge

We would like to update you following a road traffic operation carried out in Tonbridge on Friday 12th June 2026, in response to concerns raised by the community.

Reports included issues such as vehicles ignoring the ‘No Right Turn’ restriction opposite Wetherspoons, as well as speeding across a number of local roads. In response, officers were deployed both overtly and covertly to address these concerns and take appropriate enforcement action where offences were identified.

During the operation, excellent work by PC Holding resulted in the arrest of a suspected drink and drug driver, helping to prevent potential harm to others.
