CANNOCK DRUG DEALER JAILED

A heroin and crack dealer in Cannock who tried to dismantle his phone when we turned up at the door has been jailed.

Shaquille Shirley, 31, of Birmingham, was inside an address in March 2020 when officers from our major and organised crime team turned up.

Shirley initially refused to open the door and was shouting at officers from the upstairs window. When we got inside, we found that Shirley had tried to dismantle a phone and had tried to hide the battery in his pocket. He was arrested.

When we searched the home with a drugs dog, we found heroin and crack cocaine which had been hidden behind a child’s bed.
