Every time you pop out, it's important to take your keys with you and lock your car. Thieves are looking for easy opportunities to steal your car.
There are quick and free ways to protect you and your vehicle right now:
• Take your keys out the ignition
• Lock your car and check the handle
• Check for the signs your car is locked – wing mirrors in, lights flash, alarm on
• Keep your keys away from windows and doors
• When out and about, share your location with trusted people

If your car has Keyless Entry and Start (PKES), it can be stolen by ‘Relay Attack’

• Keep your keys in a faraday pouch
• Move keys away from doors and windows
• Use a steering lock
• Check manufacturers guide on keyless entry and alarm systems
