I attended a soup kitchen hosted by the army Of Kindness this week, supporting a fantastic initiative that brings our community together. Every Thursday from 5pm – 6:30pm, this dedicated team provides a hot meal for those who may be homeless, vulnerable, or simply in need of support. This is held at St Andrews Methodist And United Reformed Church in Rochdale. As a neighbourhood police officer, it’s always a privilege to attend events like this not just to help keep people safe, but to connect, listen, and support those who may be going through difficult times. Policing is about people, and initiatives like this show the true strength and compassion within our community. If you or someone you know could benefit, or if you’d like to get involved, please come along. Together, we can make a real difference. 💙
Donations are welcome and needed to keep charities like this functioning.
