Update from the Norton Neighbourhood Policing Team
Dear Residents,
We are continuing to target criminals, illegal drivers, those involved in violence and anti-social behaviour in the Norton area.
What’s been happening
The local officers have been carrying out extra patrols around Mary Stevens Park due to an isolated robbery and an increase of anti-social behaviour by a group of youths on the bowling green.
A prolific shoplifter who has been targeting local stores over the last few weeks has been identified and arrested.
The officers are still out and about recovering stolen vehicles used in crime or being driven by uninsured drivers.
If you have noticed any suspicious vehicle in your road or that appear to have been abandoned, please let us know so we can do some checks on them.
Off road bikes, e bikes and scooters are a nuisance in all areas - any information, photographs of the riders or bikes is a big help to the police, this will help get these vehicles removed from our streets.
The team have already spoken to several youths who were seen riding e-scooters around the Norton area and parents have been given advise with regards to their use on the public highway.
We regularly hold police surgeries and drop-in sessions for you to come along and get advice on crime prevention, protecting your homes or cars etc Our next events are Doverton House , Love Lane 16-06-26 between 12-00 -13-00 Iverley Care Home Norton Road 25-06-25 between 13-00 -15-00
With the football world cup starting just a reminder that England are playing Croatia on Wednesday 17th kick off at 21-00hrs
A big thanks to
