Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Between 11.00am on Thursday 4 and 9.30am on Monday 9 June, in Kirkby Hardwick, Kirkby in Ashfield, an attempt was made to break into a property, the patio door was damaged and a footprint was left on the glass roof of the conservatory. It is thought that access was over the back fence from Penney Emma Way. Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Between 9.30am on Wednesday 3 and 2.15pm on Thursday 4 June in Inkerman Road, Selston, a blue Renault Twingo was stolen. At 2.18am on Tuesday 10 June in Edward Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, an attempt was made to steal an orange Ford Focus car by two males who arrived on an electric bike. Both had lap top computers one stood nearby with an aerial up while the second tried the car doors. Described as 1st- 5-06”, slim build, white clothing. 2nd- 5-10” slim build, black clothing. Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Nothing to Report Criminal Damage Nothing to Report. ASB At 7.49am on Sunday 7 June in Felley Mill Lane North, Underwood, a report of five or six off road bikes in Friezeland Woods. At 1.58pm on Sunday 7 June in Derwent Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of young males, around 10 years of age, one in a black hoodie, blond hair, messing about on the callers driveway and refusing to leave. The caller was concerned they may damage her car. They had also been knocking on her house windows.
