Off Road Bike and E-Scooters |
||
|
Kidderminster Safer Neighbourhood Officers from Kidderminster North/ East and Broadwaters recently took part in a police operation to tackle the illegal use of e-bikes and scooters. Two e-scooters were seized and will be destroyed as they were ridden dangerously and illegally. Although e-scooters are available to buy they are currently illegal to use on public roads, pavements, cycle lanes and pedestrian areas (unless part of a legal e-scooter loan scheme). As there are no legal schemes in our area e-scooters can only be ridden on private land with permission of the land owner. The officers also received reports of two off road motorbikes being ridden in Cookley again in a dangerous manner. As a result the two riders have been identified and reported for committing road traffic offences (TOR's)
