Closure order extension - Wycombe East area

Dear residents, 

The Wycombe East team have successfully extended a pre-existing closure on an address in the Leas Close area. 

A closure order is a tool that allows police to legally ban people from entering a property following persistent anti-social behaviour that impacts the community (any exceptions to this are communicated clearly to those it concerns). A breach of this order is a criminal offence and individuals can face prosecution. While a closure order typically lasts 3 months before expiration, they can be extended for 6 months where appropriate - that has been the case with the above address. 

The team will be monitoring the closure order closely to ensure any breaches are detected and dealt with robustly.
