Motorbike Theft

We have received reports of motorbikes being targeted by thieves in the city, the most recent area was Stoke.

Owners are urged to take extra precautions to protect the vehicles.  Officers are on the ground patrolling the area looking out for suspicious behaviour.

✓ Park in well-lit, busy locations or secure garages

✓ Consider fitting a tacker or alarm system

✓ Ensure your bike is always locked, even when left for short periods.

✓ Remove valuables and documentation from your bike

✓ Use a disc lock and chain and chain to a secure, immovable object where possible.
