Community Engagement

Dear Residents,

I’ve recently had the opportunity to engage with Crossways Community, a wonderful local charity making a real difference in the lives of people across Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas.

For over 55 years, Crossways Community has been supporting better mental health within our community. They are a leading provider in West Kent, offering residential and supported living accommodation for adults living with moderate to severe mental health challenges.

What really stands out is how much they give back locally. Alongside their accommodation services, they run several fantastic projects including their welcoming café, The Kitchen Table, the therapeutic gardening initiative Flourish, and their work in schools where they provide valuable mental health support to young people.

It’s inspiring to see such a long-standing organisation continuing to support and strengthen our community in so many meaningful ways.
