We would like to invite you to meet your local officers at Carpenders Park Train Station on Tuesday, 11th August 2026, between 8:30am and 9:30am.

Officers will be available to provide crime prevention advice and practical tips on how to protect yourself from purse dipping and other theft offences while travelling on trains and using public transport.

This is an opportunity to:

Learn how thieves target passengers in busy stations and on trains.

Receive practical advice on keeping your purse, wallet, phone and other valuables safe.

speak directly with local officers about any concerns you may have regarding safety while travelling.

Collect crime prevention information and guidance.

We encourage all commuters and members of the public to stop by, ask questions and find out how simple steps can help reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime.
