Theft from Motor vehicles

Good Morning Queensbury residents,

Just to make you aware between 3/6/26 - 9/6/26  we have had 6 reports of theft from motor vehicles and vehicle interference.

These have included theft of catalytic converters , a window being smashed to gain entry  as well as untidy searches of vehicles which may have accidently been left unlocked.

To try to prevent further incidents  please double check your vehicles are locked and report any suspicious behaviour or incidents either by calling 101 or online at www.met.police.uk 

Try to park in a garage overnight where possible.  if this isn't possible , park in a well lit area and try to park so the converter cant be easily accessed.   You can also register your converter and mark it with a forensic marker which will make it harder for thieves to dispose of.  Further information regarding the above can be accessed online at www.met.police.uk  under crime prevention advice.
