A busy week for The Dudley North Neighbourhood Team.

✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team this week! ✅

The team conducted a drop-in surgery at Sedgley Library. Speaking to residents about ASB and off-road bikes in and around the area.

PCSO’s from the Dudley North Policing Team recovered a stolen vehicle in Sedgley less than 24 hours after it was stolen.

With the nicer weather approaching, Dudley North Neighbourhood Team are looking to get back into Community Speed Watch with our residents.

The Dudley North Neighbourhood Team took part in yearly pub licensing checks.

PCSO’s from the Dudley North Neighbourhood Team visited a local primary school to give a talk on grooming and exploitation to year 6.

Two wanted prolific shop lifters were arrested this week on warrant for our PPU colleagues.

Two further arrests for domestic situations.

The Dudley North Neighbourhood Team had meetings with Coseley councillors to discuss priorities for the area.

We continue to get reports of off-road bikes, which we have an upcoming op to tackle our off-road bike issue with the council ASB team.

Officers conducted patrols in Jubilee Park to tackle ASB, also engaging with the youth centre for joint work around ASB.

What is Community Speed Watch?

Community Speed Watch is a national police-led initiative where trained local volunteers monitor vehicle speeds in their neighbourhoods using approved detection devices. Its primary goal is to educate drivers, reduce accidents and improve road safety. The highly visible presence of volunteers acts as a deterrent, prompting drivers to slow down. The information helps police to identify traffic hotspots and allocate official enforcement resources more effectively. It addresses community concerns about dangerous driving, protecting pedestrians, cyclists and residents.
