Police are working hard to tackle a group using illegal quad bikes and off-road motorcycles in the area. These individuals typically operate on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between 4pm and 10pm, with Sundays being the busiest day. They are often seen committing traffic offences and may wear balaclavas to conceal their identity. Please remain vigilant when out walking and report any incidents by calling 101, or 999 if there is an immediate danger. We recognise the risk this behaviour poses to the community and are carrying out proactive patrols where staffing allows. For your own safety, do not engage with this group. Additionally, if you own or work in a retail premises, we advise that you do not serve individuals wearing face coverings. |
