Burglary Prevention Advice

Just a post regarding some crime prevention around burglaries. Most break-ins are opportunistic - don't make it easy for offenders. Stay vigilant and take simple steps to protect your property. Everyone deserves to feel safe and secure in their own home. 

Top Tips to Protect Your Property:
✅ Always lock doors and windows, even when you’re at home or just popping out
✅ Leave lights on or use timers to make your home look occupied
✅ Install CCTV, alarms, or video doorbells where possible

✅ Have a motion activated light on the address
✅ Keep keys, wallets, and valuables out of sight. (Faraday pouches are great to keep your keys in.)
✅ Avoid posting holidays or time away from home on social media
✅ Ask a trusted neighbour to keep an eye on your property
✅ Ensure gates, sheds, and garages are secure
