Positive Stop Search

We would like to thank members of the community who recently raised concerns regarding reported of animals being targeted and harmed with catapults and other similar items in the village.

As a result of information received and ongoing patrols activity, officers carried out a stop search yesterday. During the search, a male was found to be in possession of a catapult along with a number of other offensive weapons. The male was subsequently arrested, and the items were seized. 

The individual will now be put before the court to answer for these offences.
