Please be aware of ongoing fraudulent phone call scams in the area. Scammers may pose as police officers, banks, or other trusted organisations, and may try to pressure you into giving personal details, PIN numbers, or transferring money.

Remember:

The police or your bank will never ask for your PIN or full password

Do not feel pressured—hang up if you’re unsure

If in doubt, wait a few minutes and call the organisation back using a trusted number

Please look out for vulnerable friends, family, and neighbours. Report suspicious calls to Action Fraud (0300 123 2040) or 101.
