Updates for headland and Harbour Ward |
Good afternoon residents. The last two shifts have been busy with reports about off road bikes again, one resident has very kindly sent in footage of an off roader riding around the beached area at almost midnight. ASB reports at a restaurant on the marina which involved a group of youths entering the store and being verbally abusive towards staff, this behaviour is unacceptable and we are currently reviewing the footage from the store to identify those responsible. Antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated. I attended a community event at St Hilda's church where i met a number of local residents who were happy to chat with me about the issues on the ward and chat about the history of the church. Myself and Councillor Matthew Dodds are looking to arrange a Community Speed watch (when we are both free) along Old Cemetery road regarding recent complaints about speeding drivers. I will update you once I have done this. If you are experiencing any issues at all on the ward myself and PC SULGA will be more than happy to pay you a visit and speak with you about the issues you are having. I would like to again thank all residents for their continuous support and appreciate any feedback, whether that be about what we have done to resolve any issues on the ward and what you would like to see more of. More updates and crime prevention to come.
Enjoy your week and stay safe.
