Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property: ELLESMERE PORT WEST GrangeAtherton Road – 27/5 – A male offender climbed over a boundary fence into a residential garden and made an unsuccessful attempt to enter a shed. The offender then attempted to gain entry to the property by repeatedly trying the rear door handle. When unable to gain access, the offender made off on foot. - *Male arrested.Pooltown Road – 27/5 – A male offender has entered property via an unlocked rear door. Homeowner has found the male crawling around the kitchen floor and chased him out before flagging down officers who were looking for him. – *Male involved in above burglary at Atherton Road – Male arrested. Chocolate, drinks, racquets and cash from the till taken. Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles: ELLESMERE PORT WEST Ledsham & ManorJoiner Grove – 1/6 – Pane of window glass chipped by unknown means.St. PaulsStation Road – 1/6 – During the overnight hours, the front kitchen window of the property was smashed using a paving slab.GrangeAtherton Road/Stamford Street – 27/5 – Damage caused to boundary fencing and garden flowers by male climbing over them. – *This is linked to the reported burglary in Atherton Road with the male offender being arrested. ELLESMERE PORT EAST Ellesmere Port TownRochester Drive – 28/5 – Green and black Vulcan Carrera mountain bike taken from outside address at approx. 1.30pm.Stokesay Court – 6/6 – Male gained entry to the communal area of the flats and forcibly removed a Ring doorbell from a flat door. A further attempt to remove a second device from another door was unsuccessful. The male then exited the location, taking the stolen doorbell with him.RossmorePercival Road – 1/6 – Over the past four weeks, an unknown male has been repeatedly taking milk deliveries from a doorstep. He walks of in the direction of Church Street.ELLESMERE PORT WEST NestonRaby Park Road – 25/5 – A Cube mountain bike was stolen from the bike sheds outside Brio/Neston Recreation Centre after the lock was cut. It has since been recovered after being abandoned in a hedge on Mill Lane.Ledsham & ManorChester Road – 28/5 – A black Carrera Luna mountain bike, which had been secured by locking the rear wheel to the frame, was taken from outside Ladbrokes.Willaston & ThorntonMill Green – 1/6 – A green wheelie bin, put out for collection, was later found to have been taken.GrangeSutton Way – 2/6 – Push bike taken from outside residential property. – No further details of bike.Protect your bike from theft | Cheshire Constabulary Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles: ELLESMERE PORT EAST WhitbyChester Road – 2/6 – At 12.10pm access was gained into a Grey Golf GTI TSI, VK23 FDO, parked on the driveway by unknown means. The offender(s) subsequently drove the vehicle into a wall and gate, whilst reversing it off the driveway, causing damage to the gate and to the vehicle’s lights. The vehicle was then driven away in the direction of the Strawberry Roundabout.ELLESMERE PORT WEST ParkgateLeighton Road – 25/5 – At approximately 7:30am, an alarm was activated on a black MG ZS parked on a residential driveway. The owner exited the property and observed a male standing at the bottom of the driveway next to the vehicle. The male made off down Earle Drive. ELLESMERE PORT WEST SuttonLupus Way – 31/5 – Insecure Kia Sportage, parked on residential driveway, entered and cash taken. Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles: ELLESMERE PORT WEST St. PaulsChester Road – 27/5 – A VW Golf was found fully alight in the corner of a golf club car park.
