Hello Resident, Start with a friendly welcoming introduction
✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅ Sutton Trinity have been out and about this week patrolling the key areas identified by the local community.
PC Fern has been speaking with Sutton United Football Club to discuss the parking issues on Hollyfield Road following recent concerns raised over the number of vehicles parking along the road and potentially parking in dangerous positions. With the summer approaching and the season coming to a close, the parking issue should sort itself out but working with the club we are hoping that we can resolve the issue prior to the new season starting.
PC Jones was invited to give a presentation to staff at Good Hope Hospital, relating to Violence Against Women & Girls. This was well received and we continue to support NHS staff who are regularly abused and assault whilst trying to help members of public. Parking issues and abandoned vehicles | West Midlands Police - is a link that offers advice in relation to parking issues and how it should be reported.
Working with other departments the team have been very productive in locating and arresting a number of individuals who are repeated offenders. These arrests include a male wanted for a recall to prison, one offender who had breached his criminal behaviour order and wanted for a number of other offences. We also arrested another male whilst on patrol who had been identified for a number of theft offences within the Falcon Lodge Estate, he was remanded in custody to appear at court on 06/06/26.
PCSO Saul Smith held a Police Surgery at the Silver Tree Cafe during the week, where local residents came along to discuss their concerns and crime prevention advice was given. With the weather getting better the team are planning their first walk and talk surgery for residents from Sutton Coldfield can join members from the Sutton Trinity for a stroll around Sutton Park and discuss their concerns and receive crime prevention advice whilst enjoying the fresh air. The dates for this are yet to be confirmed but will be advertised in the next few weeks. The walk will last approximately 45 minutes and will be accessible to all regardless of your level of fitness. It's a great way to get to know your local officers and also meet new people.
